Vienna, do you think you would be the same number of feet if you measured yourself with an adult’s foot? Is there any of that delicious pizza left? Harper, are you imagining that it is you going into space in the rocket? Anna, I love the broccoli hair on your vegetable person!
Awesome measuring Vienna, you could measure everyone in your house, I wonder how different everyone would be? Did you enjoy making your pizza dough, lots of kneading with your hands isn't there. Harper I love your pictures, they are so bright and colourful! Anna, your fruit and vegie people are amazing, I love the broccoli for hair and are those olives for the eyes and buttons? They are too cool to eat!!
Vienna maybe you could try measuring your height in 'hands' next. Do you think it would be more or less than in 'feet'? I've been making a lot of homemade pizzas too. My favourite is chicken, brie and cranberry - what do you like best? Your writing is very neat Harper and your pictures so colourful - well done! Your veggie creations are wonderful Anna, I like the broccoli hair and is that an elephant trunk? What wonderful ideas!
Did you know Vienna that before we had rulers and measuring tapes horses used to be measured in 'hands'. People would stack open hands one on top of the other and count the number of hands it took to get to the to of the shoulders! I wonder how many hands tall you would be? That pizza you made looks so scrumptious! Speaking of scrumptious AND funny....Anna I love your vegetable people. These are some of the best I have seen. So creative and healthy too. Did you eat them? Harper that would have to be the most colourful rocket and astronaut I have every seen! Your handwriting is lovely and neat too!
