We had so much fun making certificates for each other! Miss White partnered us up with someone else from Room 8 and we thought about positive things that we could share about each other!

Wow, what a fabulous day! We had so much fun at Athletics day today. Here is a snapshot of the different activities we did.
Congratulations to Jacob for receiving a certificate this week for an improvement in Reading and Writing. Great job Jacob!
Friday was Twins and Triplets day! Lots of people found someone to dress up with. Look at Room 8's twins and triplets.
On Friday the whole school went on a Giant Walk as part of our Travelwise week. It was a great morning and the weather held for us! We walked with Mrs Swan and our Room 14 buddy class.
This week we learnt that Morse code was used as a form of communication about 100 years ago. It was a way of sending secret messages! Room 8 used Morse code to write their names. Don't they look fun with just dots and dashes for each letter?!!

Congratulations to this week's superstars - Borayr, Divyansh, Cody, and Harper! Fantastic effort - keep up all the hard work!
The Room 8 children presented their poems to the rest of the class in Week 7and what a fantastic job they did! I was super impressed with the way they all stood up the front of the class and shared their poems. It is not the way we wanted to hold the Poetry Festival this year, but the children made me very proud of the way they learned, practiced, and presented their poems to each other.

In Room 8 we are learning how to add. We had fun using pipe cleaners and beads to show how to add two numbers together.
