I love your dinosaur spikes, you look like a Borayrasaurus!
I like your Mothers Day card - I'm sure your mum felt very special.
What a lovely card and pictures that you made for mum Delan. She must have felt very spoiled!
What a neat experiment Aiden. Guessing objects that are hidden in a bag of rice. Who was better at guessing....mum or dad?
Dinosaur Borayr! Awesome spikey costume!
ReplyDeleteLovely writing and drawings Delan, I'm sure your Mum felt very loved!
Very cool idea Aiden! A great way to use different senses to figure how what something is.
I'm sure your mums were very happy to receive their messages, pictures and cards from you. It is nice to show how much you appreciate them.
ReplyDeleteWell done Room 8 for using your Sunnyhills GEMS in your distance learning. Delan and Boroyr showed kindness by making cards for your Mums which is our Empathy Gem. I'm sure Aiden showed perseverance when putting rice into his 'guessing bag', because that would be very tricky and challenging not to spill it. Perseverance is one our Self Belief Gems.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work
Thank you Miss Robertson, Mrs Jackman and Mrs Churchill. Aiden enjoyed finding tricky items to hide and carefully spooning the rice in. Watching his mum and dad struggle to find the things also put a smile on his face! His Dad was a bit faster but the baggie sort of exploded, so maybe some points off for that haha!
ReplyDeleteBorayr, ROAR Mr Dinosaur and a beautiful butterfly on the card you made.
ReplyDeleteDelan, what kind words you wrote about your mum.
Aiden, that looks a fun activity.
What an interesting experiment Aiden, I wonder what kinds of things you used, it would be of been funny hearing both Mum and Dad's different guesses! What lovely kind words and drawings Delan and Borayr you made for your mums, they are very lucky!
ReplyDeleteOh even more fabulous work from Room 8 learners! I am sure your Mums were so happy to receive your Mothers Day cards. Home made are the most treasured. I love the look of your Eye Spy bag Aiden...we have a Where's Wally one of these at my house. Perhaps you could bring yours to school when we are back so that we could have a go at finding the wee treasures!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful new type of dinosaur Borayr!
ReplyDeleteYour mum is a very lucky lady, Delan.
What a super duper fun activity Aiden! Your Mum and Dad are very clever.
From Mrs Burge
