Welcome to Room 8's blog for 2020. We are an energetic Year 1 class and our teacher is Miss White and Mrs Smith. We are looking forward to working together and learning lots of exciting and new things this year! Check our blog regularly to see what we have been up to. We would love to read your comments.
Hello Mrs Smith, thanks for today's message. Aiden loved your nature hunt Easter egg! Will let you know what we get up to later on. Have a great day and weekend.
Oh my, how can it be the last month of Autumn? I am not looking forward to Winter, I have enjoyed the lovely warm weather we have had recently. I have noticed a few people on scooters without helmets which is not being safe at all. I am pleased your family are staying safe whilst bike riding. From Mrs Burge
Kia ora Mrs Smith I have been on a big bike ride to Musick Point during the Lockdown too. It is a beautiful place to visit and look at one of Auckland's Harbours and it is very important to wear your bike helmet to protect your head. From Mrs Smaill
Good morning Mrs Smith - lovely to see you as always. I wish we lived a little closer to Musik Point so that we could bike ride up there. I cannot believe you could see all the fish and even saw a sting ray. They are quite beautiful I think! We are lucky though as we get to bike ride around the rotary walk and although we don't get to see sting rays we do get to see Sunnyhills families!!! We even see some Sunnyhills teachers!
Hi Mrs Smith, we had a busy day and did lots of bike riding too. Anna was worried this morning that someone in your house has messed with your clock because it says quarter to five in the video :-) She wanted me to warn you so you don't get too mixed up over the weekend!
