That's a great looking fruit and vege person Aiden!
I like your space rocket and maths measuring! How fun asking mum and dad to guess how many hands long you are.
Welcome to Room 8's blog for 2020. We are an energetic Year 1 class and our teacher is Miss White and Mrs Smith. We are looking forward to working together and learning lots of exciting and new things this year! Check our blog regularly to see what we have been up to. We would love to read your comments.
Nico these look delicious! What are the fillings? Maybe when we are all back in school, you could have some in your lunchbox.
ReplyDeleteAiden, did you eat your fruit and vegetable person? Lots of bright colours and crunchy food.
Nico, you'll have to teach me how to make dumplings. Mr Burge eats them but he buys them from the shop! I bet yours taste better!
ReplyDeleteAiden, your fruit people look good enough to eat, did you take a bite of one of them?
From Mrs Burge
Hi Mrs Clyde and Mrs Burge, thank you, Aiden and his sister had the vegetable people for their afternoon tea that day :)
ReplyDeleteNico these look yummy! What is your favourite filling? I'd love to know how to make them. Aiden Your vegetable creation is so colourful? It looks delicious. Did you eat it afterwards? I love the way you have measured how tall you are!
ReplyDeleteNico, you are very clever making dumplings, they are yummy to eat! Well done. Aiden I love your fruit people and how you have measured yourself in 'hands', did you know horses are measured by 'hands'!! A fun task to do on all your family!!
ReplyDeleteOoooh Nico - I love dumplings! I wish you could deliver me some!!! My goodness Aiden you have been so super busy this past 4 weeks. I think you have a wonderful supportive family encouraging you with all kinds of fun learning opportunities. Lucky you and mahi pai! Good work!
ReplyDeleteGoodness me Aiden great vegetable people!
ReplyDeleteNico your dumplings look perfect Ka pai!
What a great idea to see how long you are in hands Aiden! Your dumplings look delicious Nico. We make polish ones at home called pierogi. They have mashed potato inside and are really yummy.
ReplyDeleteNico will have to give the teachers a masterclass in dumpling making, mine certainly don't look like that when I make them! Your fruit and vegetable people are so cute Aiden and I like your idea to measure your height in 'hands'. Where mummy and daddy's guesses right?
ReplyDeleteThank you for the comments! Actually we were all a way off haha, Aiden's dad was the closest with 15!
